General Explanations
According to the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ('PDPL'), the rights listed below are granted to individuals defined as data subjects ('Hereinafter referred to as the 'Applicant') whose personal data are processed under Article 11 of the PDPL.
  • The right to learn whether personal data is processed,
  • The right to request information if personal data has been processed,
  • The right to learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether it is used for its intended purpose,
  • The right to know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
  • The right to request correction if personal data is incomplete or processed incorrectly,
  • The right to request the deletion or destruction of personal data,
  • If personal data has been processed incompletely or incorrectly, to request the notification of the transactions made to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
  • To object to the occurrence of a result against the individual by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
  • The right to request the compensation of the damage in case of suffering damage due to the processing of personal data unlawfully.

According to the Data Controller Application Procedure and Principles published by the Personal Data Protection Authority, your applications must include the following information.
  • Name, surname, and if the application is in writing, signature,
  • Republic of Turkey ID number for Turkish citizens, nationality for foreigners, passport number, or if any, identity number,
  • Residence or workplace address for notification,
  • If available, the electronic mail address, telephone, and fax number for notification,

If the mandatory information is not included in the Personal Data Application Form, your application will be considered invalid. You can also attach your information and documents related to the subject to your application if available.

According to the 2nd paragraph of Article 13 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, your requests submitted to us will be responded to within the shortest time and, at the latest, thirty days from the date your request reaches us, depending on the nature of the request. In written applications, the application date will be the date when the document is delivered to us. In other methods of application, the date your application reaches us will be considered as the application date.
